Pickity Place Five-Course Lunch

Since 1786 this quaint little red cottage has graced the hills of southern New Hampshire, seemingly untouched by time.  The enchanting cottage was chosen by Elizabeth Orton Jones as the model for her illustrations in Little Red Riding Hood (Little Golden Books, 1948).  Today it is a mecca for gardeners, foodies and anyone looking for inspiration and relaxation.  You will still find the hilltop hideaway at the end of the winding dirt road. Lighten your spirit as you step out of your world and into this one.  Welcome to Pickity Place.

Lighten your spirit while strolling through the themed gardens (butterfly, silver, oregano, bird, healing, and moonlight). Explore the kitchen garden and take in the sweet smell of basil, the sharp peppery flavor of nasturtium, or the intoxicating aroma of English lavender.  It is in the culinary garden that we find inspiration for creating the recipes used in the five-course gourmet herbal luncheons. Guests are encouraged to "please handle the herbs."
