Since 1786 this quaint little red cottage has graced the hills of southern New Hampshire, seemingly untouched by time. The enchanting cottage was chosen by Elizabeth Orton Jones as the model for her illustrations in Little Red Riding Hood (Little Golden Books, 1948). Today it is a mecca for gardeners, foodies and anyone looking for inspiration and relaxation. You will still find the hilltop hideaway at the end of the winding dirt road. Lighten your spirit as you step out of your world and into this one. Welcome to Pickity Place.

Stroll through the themed gardens (butterfly, silver, oregano, bird, healing, and moonlight). Explore the kitchen garden and take in the sweet smell of basil, the sharp peppery flavor of nasturtium, or the intoxicating aroma of English lavender. It is in the culinary garden that we find inspiration for creating the recipes used in the five-course gourmet herbal luncheons. Guests are encouraged to "please handle the herbs." Multiple gift shops at Pickity plus more shopping on our way back home.

Ticket price is $130.00, and seats are available on a first-come; first-served basis. Trip includes deluxe motor coach transportation, five-course lunch at Pickity Place, plenty of time for shopping and exploration. A sample menu appears on the reverse of this flier. For more information, call Randall at (413) 436-5357 or email [email protected]. The trip will take place rain or shine.
