Welcome to the world of Lords and Ladies, of Knights Errant, and of Castles and Kings. King Richard’s Faire in Carver, Massachusetts is New England’s finest Renaissance festival. You’ll see a vivid recreation of a 16th century English marketplace at festival time. Actors, dancers, puppeteers, jugglers, minstrels, mimes, magicians, and musicians perform for you and for the favor of his Royal Highness King Richard. Royalty and beggars, highwaymen and guards, knights and wenches, swordsmen and soothsayers all roam throughout the 80-acre wooded Tudor village while artisans hawk and display a wide array of unique handmade wares.

Chefs prepare delectable edibles for purchase that are authentic to Renaissance times. Exotic animals, jousting knights on horseback, and challenging games round out the Renaissance merriment at this Faire. You can visit the Gaming Glen where sixteen games await your skill. Try the Axe Throw, the Archer’s Field, the Swan Swing, or simply play hide n’ seek in M’Lady’s Shady Maze. Ten stages will host entertainment that ranges from Gypsy Dancers to high flying aerial angels. There will be Crystal Ball foolish fortunes, Irish music and mirth, English pub singing, and the saucy songs of the Baudy Beauties along with magic shows and other entertainment.
