ISLES OF SHOALS CRUISE

Join us aboard the Victorian style M/V Thomas Laighton and experience the fascinating legends of the New Hampshire and Maine seacoast. Little known, but historically crucial, the legendary Isles of Shoals, located 6 miles off the coast, are an intriguing archipelago of 9 islands steeped in history. As you glide through the Portsmouth Harbor, you will see a unique working port with tugboats, tankers, the nation’s oldest and most active naval yard, the closed castle-like prison – “The Alcatraz of the East”, the quaint Olde Port waterfront, a famous grand resort hotel, five historic forts, and three lighthouses proudly guiding mariners. There is a snack bar on the boat.

Your day begins with departure from Lizak Bus Service as you board your coach for travel to Portsmouth where you will immediately board your steamship. Trip price includes transportation, a cruise around the Isles of Shoals, and a harbor tour. No meals are included, but we will take free time for lunch and shopping in Portsmouth. We depart for Warren at approximately 4:30.   Dress for the weather; the trip will take place rain or shine.
